what a beautiful site! that has to be one of the nicest cellar holes i ever seen!
I am fascinated with the various cellar hole sites in and around pomfret and was wondering if you know of others on public or private land that i may be able to metal detect?
there are some amazing things that these sites produce which would be lost forver if not found.
if on private property we always show the owner what we have found and offer the land owner some of the finds.or split 50/50 the findings.
